Move off WordPress, Webflow or Wix to a faster site you own.

We rebuild your site in Astro as a static site, keep your URLs and rankings, and host it on Cloudflare, Netlify or Vercel, often on the free plan. Built a site yourself in Claude or ChatGPT? We finish it, launch it and look after it.

Where is your site now?

Each platform lets go of a site differently. Pick yours to see what moves, what gets rebuilt, and the guide with the details.

WordPress

The move we do most. A site with a theme, a few plugins and a blog becomes a folder of pages and Markdown posts.

Moves
Pages, posts, images, categories, SEO titles and descriptions.
Rebuilt
The theme, page builder layouts, forms and anything a plugin did.
WordPress to Astro

Webflow

Webflow's code export gives you HTML and CSS. It leaves out the CMS, forms and site search, so those are rebuilt.

Moves
The design, page text and images.
Rebuilt
CMS collections and templates, forms, interactions and search.
Webflow to Astro

Wix

Wix has no export for the site itself, so it is rebuilt from what is live. Your domain comes with you.

Moves
Text, images, blog posts and CMS collections as CSV.
Rebuilt
Every page layout, forms and anything a Wix app did.
Wix to Astro

Claude or ChatGPT

Whatever the tool wrote, Astro, React or plain HTML, the site usually works on your laptop and nowhere else yet.

Moves
Your code, as it is.
Rebuilt
Hosting, the domain, a form that sends, SEO basics and anything unsafe.

What Astro is, and why it costs less to run

Astro is a free, open-source web framework. It builds your site into finished HTML pages before anyone visits, and sends little or no JavaScript to the browser unless a part of the page needs it. Cloudflare bought the company behind Astro in January 2026 and kept it open source and free to host anywhere.

For a small business site, that means fast pages, nothing to patch on a server, and hosting that often costs nothing. Your team edits through a CMS with a normal editing screen. Bookings, logins and members areas run on pages rendered on the server, with a database such as Netlify DB or Cloudflare D1 behind them, while the rest of the site stays static.

This site runs on Astro, with one small function on Netlify for the contact form.

Hosting can be free. Here is the fine print.

We set the site up on your own account, so the host bills you, not us. Your domain still costs money, about the same as it does now.

Cloudflare

Free plan

Requests for static files are free and unlimited, on the free plan too. Our default for most small business sites.

  • 500 builds a month on the free plan.
  • Custom domain and HTTPS included.
  • Domains sold at cost through Cloudflare Registrar.

Netlify

Free, with a cap

The free plan is 300 credits a month. If they run out, the site pauses until the next month, so a busy site moves to Personal at $9 a month.

  • Forms built in, free on credit plans.
  • Custom domain and HTTPS included.
  • Deploy previews for every change.

Vercel

For app-like sites

Our pick when a site needs server features, like a booking flow with its own logic. Its free Hobby plan is meant for personal projects, so business sites usually go on Cloudflare.

  • Strong at server routes and previews.
  • Custom domain and HTTPS included.
  • Pro plan when the site grows into an app.

Everything in an Astro build

Questions about Astro websites

What is Astro, in plain words?

A free, open-source tool for building websites. It turns your pages into plain HTML files before anyone visits, so they load fast and there is no database or login on the live site to attack. Cloudflare has owned the company behind it since January 2026, and Astro stays open source and can be hosted anywhere.

Will we lose our Google rankings when we move?

Not if every old URL either stays the same or gets a 301 redirect to its new page, and the titles, descriptions and schema come across. We build the redirect map before anything else and check Search Console after launch. Google notes that rankings can move around for a while as it recrawls a site that changed.

Can we still edit the site ourselves?

Yes, in one of three ways: edit Markdown files on GitHub's website, use a headless CMS such as Keystatic, Decap or Sanity with a normal editing screen, or send the change to Site care. Teams that publish every day get a CMS, so nobody has to touch code.

Can an Astro site take bookings or have member logins?

Yes. Astro renders those pages on the server, keeps visitors signed in with sessions, and stores the data in a database on your host, such as Netlify DB or Cloudflare D1. The rest of the site stays static and fast. A booking flow or members area is quoted on its own, and if a booking tool you already pay for works, we connect it instead of rebuilding it.

Is the hosting really free?

For most small business sites, yes. Cloudflare serves static files free with no request limit, and Netlify's free plan covers a quiet site within 300 credits a month. We set the site up on the free plan that fits and tell you before launch if it would ever need a paid one. The domain is never free, and a contact form may need a small email service.

We built our site with Claude or ChatGPT. Can you take it over?

Yes. We review the code, move it into your own GitHub repository, connect your domain, make the contact form send, remove any keys exposed in the browser, add the SEO basics, and launch it. If the code is too tangled to keep, the quote says so and prices a clean rebuild in Astro.

Can an Astro site sell products?

Yes. A small catalog can use Stripe Checkout with no monthly platform fee. A growing catalog keeps Shopify or WooCommerce for products, stock and checkout, and Astro draws the pages.

How long does a move take, and what does it cost?

From $1,500 fixed for a small business site of up to about ten pages, in two to four weeks. A larger blog, a CMS for your team or a storefront is quoted on its own after we look at the current site.

What does Site care cover?

For $79 a month: uptime and contact form checks, dependency and Astro updates, a monthly backup of the repository, and one hour of edits. WooCommerce and Shopify stores use the Care retainer at $249 a month, which covers more.
